We are well into the planning for a journey that will take us across four continents, ancient empires and modern-day marvels. This is a trip that we have been considering and, perhaps, preparing for many years. It all starts this summer.

My sister and her family (2 boys) have been living in Hangzhou, China for 3 years, so if you find yourselves in that area and need recommendations or would like to have a meal with some expats please let me know and I’ll get you two connected. The boys and I will be following your trip!
We will keep it in mind, thank you so much for offering to make that connection. We are still organizing China. Beijing is our arrival point and we are leaving from Chengdu but what happens in between is still in flux. We will probably want to visit Shanghai in which case we will certainly go to Hangzhou so we’ll be in touch.
Maybe you and Niki could plan to meet us somewhere?? PLEASE!!!! Ask your parents about it- it would be awesome to have somebody my age around, even for a day or two.
